my silly wet horse...

Yes,I have a silly horse his name is Oliver Twister,he's a Thoroughbred/Appaloosa,he's 20-22 years old and he's very, very sassy. He went over to a friends house this last fall to get healthier ,because he started rapidly losing weight and not acting right. That was when we found out how old he really was. We bought him thinking(and the previous owners too) that he was about 11-12 years old well the vet came over to try to help him gain some wait(if he didn't gain some weight on him soon he wasn't going to make it) and she told us that he was actually 20-22 years old. After that we took him over to the friend house where he got fat and sassy and way healthier. Oliver today is doing great other then the sassy part ;). Rate now he's in his loafing shed (3 sided barn) due to the fact that it's been 30-40 degrees out and rainy and windy the last two days. When I let him out last night when to get some exercise as soon as I let the rope down (to keep him in there) ...he galloped the hill as fast as he could go and let me tell you he's fast,he part racehorse breed (Thoroughbred) no joke!! After he decided to stop galloping up and down the hill he started rolling and then he would get up and do the other side and roll and roll.... then he galloped to the top of our hill and stopped and just looked at me,like are you going to put me in there again?

This morning I had to put him in the shed ,because it was still raining, he was on the very top of the hill standing directly behind a dead apple tree( this was a very tiny tree about 7 inches in diameter and not very tall). I called to him and did the usual whistle that I do to get him down and he just stood there...
That silly wet horse of mine was hiding from me,after I called him he peeked his head from behind the tree looked at me as if to say " you can't see me" and then hid his head behind the tree again. He did this multiple times and he had me laughing,it was so funny!! =)
Then after I was done laughing/smiling at him,I remembered if that's what we look like to God when we are trying to hide from God. God sees our every move and there is absolutely nothing you can do to hide from God. God our creator who made man from dust...loves you dearly and there is nothing you can do to stop that. ever.
(yes, I eventually had to go up and get oliver where he looked at me grudgingly and reluctantly followed me into the shed)

3-5 things

Okay so my idea for you this week is to write down every morning 3-5 things your thankful for. My mom,my sister and I have been doing it and it really makes you stop complaining and be more grateful for what you do have. Such as water There are 4,500 children that will die nearly everyday from unclean water. I bet you didn't know that....
The things that you write down can be simple things like the sound of a chickadee singing their happy songs.......

Devotions

I admit devotions are nice but the truth is they are not the word of God. Devotions do have scripture in it and they are nice to help you figure out what the verse in the Bible is trying to tell/say to you, but basically devotions are written by a man who read a verse from the Bible and took it into his own context. The Bible is strait truth you can't get any closer to truth then the Bible. In the Bible it says in Galatians 2:14 ....."The Truth of the gospel might remain with you."and in 2nd Timothy 2:15 " Handling accurately the word of Truth. "( I only quoted some parts of these verses). So basically why I'm writing this blog is to get out of your everyday devotions written by some guy who put it in his own context and take a Bible in your hands. Maybe you could ask your paster about a good reading plan for you could follow in your Bible, some Bibles even have that already in them! =) Or read a book of the Bible like The Psalms or Proverbs personally The Proverbs are my favorite! =) I'm not saying that devotions are bad,I'm really not but they are not something to rely on like the Bible.

Compassion

There are over 132 million orphans around the world.

In Asia, there are estimated 65 million orphans.

Yes,I know it's the beginning of March and I haven't posted anything since January. I've been trying to come up with a good topic to write about and trust me that's doesn't come easy for me.
Other then the saying that I wrote about last time 'with God all things are possible",I've been thinking a lot about Orphans. You may be wondering why a teenage girl my age would be thinking about them? To tell you the truth I'm not like other 15 year old girl my age. Me and My family have been though a lot. My uncle died form a rare form of cancer in 2009 and at the same time my own Mom was battling cancer as well( and who is still doing great and she is as sassy as ever =) ). My grandpa whom I have never met died from cancer also before I was born. I have Hypothyroidism which means that the thing in my body that control hormones and TH levels is all out of whack. I have to take meds. every morning and night, due to this I'm shorter then most girls, and have a really hard time getting any rest at night. Now I'm not doing all this for whoever read this to have compassion on me PLEASE DON'T. If you want to have compassion have compassion on all the sweet baby girls and boys who don't have a mom and dad. I can't imagine not having a mom or a dad, just a few days ago my mom asked me a question what my gifts are and to say the truth I couldn't come up with many, but after thinking about it for a while I have realized that God has gifted me with a huge amount of compassion for orphans. When I read or hear about all the children who are parent-less my heart aches for them ,sometimes I even cry and when I hear that one of them has found a home with I family I thank God and cry from happiness. So when I begin to feel sorry for myself I have to think about all the other people who are WAY worse off then me, or when I'm mad or upset at my parent I think about all the girls and boys who are wishing they had a mom and dad. Now I know that I have said a lot and I did warn you about my rambling ,but PLEASE think about what I said...

Lately.............

I know it's been I long time since I've posted ,but life has been CRAZY!!
Lately I've had the verse "With God all things are possible" ( Luke 1:37) stuck in my head. It's been helping me to remember that even when things are hard nothing is EVER,EVER impossible.
To say that something is impossible you're mocking God saying that you don't think that he'll help you through something that is hard.
Things can be hard but NEVER impossible.
Something that I've noticed people saying lately is that they " Can't " . Man, that makes me mad. You CAN do anything and everything WITH Gods help and strength.
God has provided so much for me and my family over the last couple years and it reminds me that I need to have faith in Him and to trust in Him in ALL I do.
Now that I'm off that topic, have a great and awesome week and remember to trust in God.
God Bless
